Why should I be bound by the troubles of this earth? Why should I be tossed by the temptations of life? Why should I be afraid of the enemy? Or be tossed with the wind...?


Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead - since he was about a hundred years old - and that Sarah's womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised. This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness - for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. (Romans 4: 18-24)

Dear God, in this time and season may I not waver and miss you but instead, against all hope, may my hope in You come alive and my faith be like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding much fruit in season and whose leaves won't wither, but in whatever I do, may I prosper even as my soul prospers. (Psalm 1: 3)

Jesus, my King - order my footsteps, thoughts, words and actions in Your word...erase every limitation that I have placed knowingly and unknowingly on your mighty hands O God. Consume every weakness and plans within my heart that may interrupt Your will until I am totally and fully persuaded by faith that you alone have the power, desire and will to do what You have promised.

In my weakness, may my faith forever be pleasing to you...in my foolishness, teach me to fear you and in my stillness, help me to give you the unrestrained worship that you deserve like never before in Jesus name AMEN.

There are no such things as mistakes! He holds my world in His hands and I'm so grateful for the open door way that He has repeatedly given me to receive much grace especially when I fall...speaking of which, the word on the street is, but more importantly, in the best selling and personal favorite book of all time is that "all" wait let me say that again, "ALL" things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). So what's the sense in doubting or being fearful about the outcomes of my human frailty, knowing fully well that He knew (all of) me before I was formed in my mother's womb (Jeremiah 1:5) and that this "ALL" clause wasn't inserted accidentally by an absolutely 'PERFECT' God who doesn't contradict His character or His word...?

So I rejoice today in all my many imperfections especially as it relates to relational struggles. Yup! I'm 'sane' and yet 'insane' enough to believe that the Great I Am  has it ALL under control to the very last 'T.' Your grace is more than sufficient for us Lord and we thank you for molding us through our falls, even more and more into your image. It's all about your purpose and your plan so why not enjoy the journey as it unfolds?

Freely giving to you, this heart's deepest struggles, desires, frailties, weaknesses, strengths and successes too - You are the master changer, regulator, creator, restorer and finisher so go ahead and have Your way, that Your purpose not "may" but "will" be revealed in due time to the glory of Your magnificent and matchless name in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Utterly stoked 'coz the best is surely yet to come! O:)

I found this amazingly powerful testimony in song by William Murphy called Created to Worship/I Know Why I Am Here... Simply affirms my strong belief of the reason why I was created! Key point: the devil doesn't give life! Your not a mistake, not an after thought - but GOD has a PLAN and PURPOSE for your life and as the Alpha and Omega the one who knows the beginning from the end, the start of your life is enough evidence that there is a great end He has already predestined for you to see. Hang on to this promise day-by-day and with your hand in His and He will truly blow your mind! Be blessed as you read and listen...

Jesus...I just can't seem to thank you hard enough or long enough before you chase me down with blessing after blessing. Thank you so much for your faithfulness, for putting a new song in my mouth this day...Lord, I know I really don't deserve all these amazing miracles of your faithfulness and provision, but you still choose to shower me with your blessings day by day by day and so I just bless you JESUS for taking my mess and creating a MAJOR TESTIMONY AND BLESSING of my life. Lord, you alone are worthy and I've come to know you and love you more and more...

So I declare today that I was created just to give you the glory, I now know why I am here and I thank you for creating me to worship and adore thee...for the rest of my days!
